The PAHO Guyana Office has been in existence since 1967. The 2004-2007 Country Cooperative Strategy (CCS) guides the work of the organisation and the framework for Technical Cooperation Strategy implementation to achieve national health development has three focus areas: Facing New Challenges, Protecting Achievements and Addressing the Unfinished Agenda.
